International Law
The Managing Partner of TR, Dr. Tarek F. Riad (TFR), during the last 40 years has represented numerous international and domestic companies and offered them a full range of legal services on all matters affecting them with special emphasis on assisting its clients in undertaking commercial transactions in Egypt of different types, dealing with any legal problem in Egypt staring from Incorporating the Company, Taxation, undertaking Commercial Transactions and Dispute Resolution. TFR has also represented numerous foreign and Egyptian clients in commercial transactions inside Egypt including – inter alia – the legal work relating to establishing the Fiber Optics cable going through Egypt as part of the connection between the US and Japan, the Privatization of Misr American International, the Partial Privatization of Eastern and granting of the third mobile license valued at US$2 billion, etc. Furthermore, TFR represented numerous foreign and Egyptian clients in Commercial Transactions outside Egypt including the acquisition of the companies abroad, involving the recent acquisition by an Egyptian company of a major Information Technology company in Dubai and a major US oil company in the multi-billion tax Litigation cases in front of the US Courts, the Egyptian Media Production City and a major arbitration in front of the Cairo Regional Arbitration Center, and was involved in numerous construction, oil and gas and commercial and telecommunication arbitrations.
